Super Tasting Series—Level I

When You’re Thirsty for Wine Knowledge

Ready for the next level of wine learning but looking for something less intense than the three-year commitment of the AWS Wine Judge Certification Program? The Super Tasting Series—Level I is a day-long beginner/intermediate wine class run by credentialed, enthusiastic wine instructors with the American Wine Society. Soak up a great wine education in a fun, informative setting!


Learn about wine components, the wine aroma wheel and wine styles as you journey through multiple grape varieties and regions. And, of course, wine tastings are included. The information presented matches Jancis Robinson's Wine Course. While not required, the book would be good to have regardless.  

Pass a 50-question, multiple-choice exam to earn a certificate. Enjoy the low student/instructor ratio. Get your wine questions answered!


Class takes place the day prior to the start of the 2½-day AWS National Conference.
